I applied online. I interviewed at Designit (Bellevue, WA) in May 2020
Interview
Phone screen with recruiter followed by 30 minute phone interview with 2 team members. To be honest, a 30 minute interview with 2 teammates didn't seem like enough time and there were connection issues from the start of the interview that made it a very negative experience. The recruiter also did a poor job of updating on where they were in the process. There's definitely A LOT of room for improvement on the interview/recruiting process.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Designit
Interview
The first contact was through a recruitment agency, followed by a phone call with their team where they explained their peculiar process. They wanted to invite me to a full-day group interview at their premises with other candidates. It felt like a really big ask to spend a whole day out for a first interview. At the time I was an independent consultant and charged by the day, so this would have been a waste of my time. I also didn't think a group interview was appropriate for the seniority of the role, so I didn't pursue.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Designit in Mar 2020
Interview
From the date of applying to receiving a job offer was a week's time. Each individual I encountered with Rational was beyond helpful and responsive. The initial screening lasted around 20 minutes and received a follow up that day. The final interview, with multiple associates, felt more like a conversation which was very welcoming and allowed me to ask more questions. I received an offer within 24 hours.
