CNN News Assistant interview questions

Don't be discouraged if the recruiter/hiring manager takes long to respond after the interview. The interview process at CNN takes a LONG time. For me, I applied in August and didn't receive a call back for an interview until October. Once I interviewed it took another 2 months for a call back for another interview. Then it took another month to hear back about references and a background check. I was hired in January the following year. The whole process took about 5 months.

I began with a Skype interview with both the Technical Operations Assistant Supervisor, as well as the News Assistant Supervisor. My experience was unique in that I was asked to choose between the two positions at the start of my interview. The Skype interview was followed by an in-person interview with just the News Assistants Supervisor. The process in getting this position was VERY lengthy, with a lot of time between interviews, and a lot of time to get the offer.
