I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (São Paulo, ) in Feb 2020
Interview
The process has two interviews, maybe three. One to evaluate the Leadership Principles, by phone. If you pass, the second will be the Loop Interview, at the Amazon Office.
Or can be the first with HR to review the process and a slight screening.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Here the most used questions (https://igotanoffer.com/blogs/product-manager/amazon-product-manager-interview).
The key to succeed is to understand each principle, separate examples then, train with the questions.
Unfortunately, the Hiring Manager was busy then the human resource asks for another person in HQ to do the interview.
Pay attention to share a more flexible agenda for the interviews. I had a lot of appointments and I was a little bit restricted.
I'm from Brazil and the interviewer the call quality was not fine, so much noise and delay. It keeps failing, the interviewer connects almost 4 times during the whole interview. By the end, the English-Indian accent of the interviewer and all those difficulties makes things really difficult, not the principles at all, because I had all examples, cases, and ways to demonstrate. Despite I can talk in English well, all these things together made me fail.
More 6 months, and I'll try it again. :(
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Chennai)
Interview
Two levels of interview - Architect Design and Management
1st level is fine. they asked common questions about architect design and development process
But 2nd level is worst. interviewer is almost insulting my current company and my designation. because my work experience like both tech and management in startup companies. they expected only management skills, not tech knowledge.
i don't care about offer, but i felt bad when they insult my current job and company
Amazon Chennai: don't insult others companies and designation
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Boston, MA) in Feb 2020
Interview
A call with a recruiter about the team and the opportunity. Then was interviewed by a hiring manager over the phone for an hour. Got an email 2 days later that they thought I am not a good fit for the specific role I interviewed for but that I'd be a good fit for Amazon and have asked me to apply to other SDM roles in the company.
Would have been nice if they got me in touch with other recruiters.

Question 1
Lot of behavioral questions. How did you handle a particular situation etc. based on the leadership principles. Make sure to give examples from your own experience, as they go into very specific details of each example (including timelines).
