Firstly you get an intro call with the hiring resource. Then you go to the first interview with a single person asking you from your past experience. You need to use real examples. You also have architecture design questions. Ask for more details. If you pass this interview, you will get at least 3-4 other interviews.

Question 1
Design a ticketing system - data model to infrastructure design.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2020
Interview
I applied through Glassdoor and was contacted by a recruiter. She was excellent. She described the position and I described my experience. It was a great conversation. We then proceeded to a second interview, not with the actual hiring manager (at least I don't think so) but with another development manager. In that interview, the manager asked me inane behavioral questions. At some point I lost my calm with the interviewer, I guess that's why I failed that part of the interview. I contacted the original recruiter and asked her if she could supply a different interviewer. After a couple of days, she declined.
