I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI in Mar 2017
Interview
It took around a month for Aldi to reply to my initial application. The offered me an interview on a Sunday but as I already have a Sunday job I am committed to I was unable to make that date and rescheduled for the following Monday.
I arrived a little early and was left waiting around an hour with 2 other applicants. When one of them went to complain about how late it was getting we were told there were not interviews scheduled in that store for that day - and were we sure we weren't supposed to be in another store? 45 mins after my interview was scheduled for I received an email telling me my interview was cancelled. They tried to reschedule for a Sunday which I said I couldn't do...then they tried to reschedule for the following Sunday. So it all seemed incredibly unorganised to me. I was disappointed with the experience.

Question 1
Are all three of you sure you didn't make a mistake?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ALDI (Liverpool, Angleterre) in Feb 2017
Interview
Applied online, done the online assessments, got an email a few days later asking to come in the store for an individual assessment. Went into the store had a general chat with the area manager, explained what the interview will consist off. I done a simple maths test ( 5 minutes to do 10 questions) & two questions got asked regarding store situations, didn't feel i answered them too great, remember there isn't necessarily one answer, it judges how you work off your own initiative. Got an email day later asking to come in for a 2 hour work trial, 2 weeks later. Went in, it was doing the shelves & few other store bits. Just go in, work hard as you can ( they want hard working staff using their own initiative). Got a call the next day offering the position, just waiting to start now. Overall i think it took around 8 weeks to get offered it, long but hopefully worth it.
